Becca Zanvettor
Director, ERYT-500, CVMT, and MYT Ambassador
Becca has practiced yoga for over 25 years. She became fully immersed in her practice when symptoms of a nervous system disorder impacted her movement. Her consistent dedication resulted in a life-changing transformation to her overall health and well-being. Becca has a deeply personal connection to the Veteran community. Her wife is a combat Veteran and Becca carries that connection into Cadence Yoga Center, offering free yoga classes to Veterans and specialty classes in Mindful Yoga Therapy.
In Becca’s classes, you will find a focus on balancing the nervous system, developing body awareness, and exploring the depths of one’s own strength. She creates a light-hearted, peaceful, and supportive atmosphere, encouraging students to practice self-care, both on and off the mat.
Becca completed the 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Mama Nirvana’s with Ruth Anne Lundeberg and Josh Schumer. She finished the 300-hour Advanced Yoga Studies in the Classical 8-Limbed Path with Beryl Bender Birch, Sheila Magalhaes, and the faculty of the Hard and the Soft Yoga Institute at Heartsong Yoga Center. She earned the 100-hour certification in Mindful Yoga Therapy with Suzanne Manafort, as well as a certification in Yoga Nidra at the Mindful Yoga Center in Newington, CT. Becca is a Certified Vishoka Meditation Teacher through the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA. She developed the yoga program at the local VA Healthcare System and offers a variety of yoga and meditation classes to Veterans on the hospital campus.
